As instructed on your website, you are the person we should contact when there is an inaccuracy in a news story that is featured in the USA Today or online. Well I am writing in regards to the link below that is dated April 8, 2008.
You all have made a grave error in reporting this story being that the video of this fight obviously shows that Diana Lopez DID NOT win this match and Nia Abdallah should have been declared the winner. Diana Lopez should not have been declared the USA TODAY Athlete of the Week because she did not win. Why did you all award someone who did not win?
The USOC has consistently removed the evidence of this fight from YouTube, but I want you to log on to www.wesupportnia.com and see for yourself that Diana Lopez and her family should not take pride in being frauds.
I am a fellow journalist so I understand the code of ethics in reporting accurate news. The family of Nia Abdallah is demanding that you all report the TRUTH that Diana Lopez does not deserve to represent the United States of America in Beijing in August.
LET THE TRUTH BE KNOWN! NIA ABDALLAH IS THE TRUE CHAMPION.
I look forward to your reponse.
