Blogging from the One Woman Business Conference in Houston~Dynamic Women, Energetic Breakfast and First Round of Workshops!

by Jesse Muhammad

The One Woman Business Conference launched on Friday, August 7 with a Breakfast session that went beyond pastries and orange juice.

But rather it was an exciting session filled with the spirit of women enjoying fellowship! They laughed, networked and rocked to the song "I'm Every Woman" by Chaka Khan.

The keynote address was delivered author, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur Cheryl Lynch (pictured left). The theme of her talk was "Repacking Your Bags", that left the audience still talking about it.

Ms. Lynch told me one-on-one that "this conference is wonderful and we are getting calls from across the country to bring this wealth of information to women everywhere. We have to empower ourselves as women and many of us are lacking inspiration at times. So if this is good for the Houston woman, then it is definitely good for other cities."

Here are a few more photos of great people I have met from the first day...more to come! Plus pics coming from the afternoon Black and Brown Symposium! Interesting comments made....Stay plugged in!
