No contenders? Farrakhan's challenge to the Jewish community goes unanswered

Abraham Foxman
In this week's edition of The Final Call newspaper, you can read a letter that the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan sent to the National Director of the Anti-Defamation League, Abraham H. Foxman. Minister Farrakhan also sent him personal copies of the newly-released books by the Nation of Islam's Historical Research Department, The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews Volume Two and Jews Selling Blacks.

In the letter Minister Farrakhan wrote, "The charge of anti-Semitism has been leveled against the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, Malcolm X and the Nation of Islam for many years. For twenty-five of the thirty-three years of my rebuilding of the Nation of Islam, I and we, in the Nation of Islam have suffered under the charge of “anti-Semitism” because I have dared to be critical of what I and many others feel is Jewish behavior that has ill-affected Black people and others."

Unlike any Black man I have ever witnessed in my life, Minister Farrakhan has called them out! According to a recent article by Assistant Editor Ashahed Muhammad titled "Farrakhan's challenge to the Jewish community goes unanswered", Minister Farrakhan offered to give his life if anyone could prove anything he said in his June 26 address to be incorrect.

Did anyone step to the challenge?

"Over a week after the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan delivered a message to tens of thousands worldwide from the Atlanta Civic Center, his challenge to prove his words false, remained unanswered," Bro. Ashahed writes.

Bro. Ashahed further reports that in the letter, Minister Farrakhan wrote: “I did not write this with vitriol, hatred, bitterness or a spirit of vengeance, because One greater than you and me has permitted this for His own wise purposes.” He continues, “I have pleaded with you over the years for a sensible, intelligent dialogue. You have rejected me, and some Rabbis have given me terms for friendship that any self-respecting person could never accept. So with this truth in our hands and yours, and soon in the hands of tens of thousands, I again ask you for a dialogue.”

What has been the response by the Jews? The same usual name calling but no concrete response to the letter, the books or the presentation made by Minister Farrakhan in Atlanta. Minister Farrakhan is on the offensive and someone is on the ropes staggering.

Also in his June 26 message, Minister Farrakhan said "I have a list of all the Jewish NBA owners. See, it's like a Plantation; you're just a piece of meat, throwing balls in hoops. They've got dogs that can do that! But now, you're the “best” at doing it; so you're on a Plantation. You're a rich slave, and you're sharecropping again!"

In this week's cover story that I was honored to write, we weighed in on what the LeBron James sweepstakes really meant and the financial collapse of Black athletes.

P.S.: For those of you who may think that Min. Farrakhan is crazy about the things he said about the Jews, please take time to read this letter by the Cleveland Cavaliers slavemaster...oops I mean owner Dan Gilbert as he vents about losing his slave...oops I mean his player LeBron James to the Miami Heat.

Let me know what you think!
