A special graduation ceremony at Muhammad Mosque No. 45 in Houston

The energy was high on October 31 at the Southwest Regional Headquarters of the Nation of Islam during a graduation ceremony welcoming newly registered members under the leadership of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.

“We’re going through a process—a birthing chambers. We didn’t call you out of the world and give you an ‘X’ for you to stand on the sidelines thinking you’re better than our people. No, we must go after our people!” said Student Minister Robert Muhammad of Houston.

A total of thirty-two men and women were recognized for completing the NOI processing procedure that granted them access to the M.G.T.-GCC and F.O.I. classes, which are for Registered Members of the NOI. Each received a certificate of completion along with a personal copy of the Holy Qur’an.

The ceremony opened with a processional that included presenting the Nation of Islam colors, recitation of the NOI pledge, a drill exhibition by the Vanguard class, and the graduates marching into the sanctuary in solid ranks. Inspiring words were also delivered by Student MGT-GCC Captain Valerie Muhammad and Student F.O.I. Captain Stephen Muhammad.

Congratulations to the graduates!
