The 2011 Nation of Islam Saviours’ Day Convention has come to a close and as always the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan capped it off with an astronomical, thought-provoking, and timely keynote address on Feb. 27 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL. His subject was “God Will Send Saviours.”
"I am thankful to all those who made it to Saviours' Day and watched via webcast. Most importantly, I thank Allah for His coming in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad and His Choice of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad,” said Minister Farrakhan, 77.
This year marked the 81st year of the Nation of Islam’s existence in North America. The event also served as an annual celebration of the birth of Master Fard Muhammad, Allah (God) in Person and Founder of the Nation of Islam, who was born on Feb. 26, 1877.
With a passage from the Book of Isaiah and Nehemiah 9:27 as the base of his message, the National Representative of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad spoke for over four hours on an array of subjects including the history and works of Master Fard Muhammad, the present unusual weather patterns throughout America and the world, the recent uprisings in the Middle East, President Barack Obama, Masonry, Libya, the need for righteous saviours in the community, and the need for us as a people to do for self.
"God is stimulating the rise of the masses. Soon it will come to these shores. Mark my words, this is coming to America in a very short while,” said Minister Farrakhan regarding the uprisings in the Middle East.
Also, for the first time, he publicly shared what he found while studying at the Church of Scientology in California and the benefits of the process of auditing founded by L. Ron Hubbard. Minister Farrakhan addressed the “demons” or things that have been done to the human being that he or she has never truly healed from.
“There are things in our lives that have been done to us from little babies--stored in the subconscious mind. Boys and girls being raped when they are children think they got over it--they have to be relieved of that. The Scientologists call it auditing but we call it the exercising of demons…Satan could be lurking in your own mind,” said Minister Farrakhan.
Myself and others Tweeted and posted excerpts on Facebook during his entire message with the hashtags #SD2011 and #Farrakhan.
