The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, National representative of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, held a serious and timely press conference to address the U.S.-sponsored, NATO-led bombing of Libya, UN-sanctioned military strikes and operations against the North African nation.

"I'm happy to see the press but it's irrelevant to me if you print one word or no words. I'm here to make a statement," said Minister Farrakhan in his opening words at the podium in the Landmark View Room of the Millennium UN Plaza Hotel One United Nations Plaza in Manhattan.

Over the next hour, Minister Farrakhan would directly address the state of affairs in Libya, NATO, the U.S. Government, President Barack Obama, the United Nations, and warned of forthcoming wars between other nations. He boldly defended Col. Muammar Gadhafi and demanded that America look into the mirror of morality.

"If he (Ghadafi) has lost the moral right to lead his people, what about you (America)? What about homelessness?. What is your humanitarian record with your own citizens?..Those you send to fight your unjust wars--how do they fair when they return home? Your record, America, stinks in the nostrils of God," said Minister Farrakhan.

"I didn't come here just to have a press conference. I came to preach the doom of this institution (U.N.)," he warned.

Also presenting were Former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark, Human Rights Activist Viola Plummer, and International Activist Cynthia McKinney who reported on behalf of an international fact finding delegation live via telephone from Tripoli, Libya.

"International media are here. U.S. media are here but the truth is nowhere to be found. I have been an eyewitness to terror. An eyewitness to NATO terror," said Ms. McKinney. "The first casualty of war is truth."

"The United States has supported dictators over the Arab people for years and years. ..It has to end. Is there no end to it? Is there no decency?" said Mr. Clark. "The United States must cut its military spending by 90 percent before there can be peace on Earth. Because that is the problem."

"We come to draw attention to the imperialist aggression in our homeland, Africa," said Ms. Plummer. "We are calling on African people throughout the United States. Because it is Africa at this time that is in the crosshairs."
