Putting On The New Man: Successful Black fatherhood is possible

Kevin Green, whom I met via Twitter, with his daughter Aquinicia

In the recent edition of The Final Call newspaper, I was honored to pen a story that appears on page 2. The title of the article is "Put On The New Man" and it is a look at various aspects of Black fatherhood and manhood. To be honest, I enjoyed interviewing all of these men and hearing their inspiring stories, struggles and triumphs. Thank you to the interviewees Reginald 10X (Chicago), Stephen Muhammad (Houston), Jamil Muhammad (D.C.), Earl "Butch" Graves, Jr. (Black Enterprise magazine), Kevin Green (Midland, TX), Deric Muhammad (Houston), Chris Thomas (Detroit), Brandon Frame (Boston), and filmmaker Janks Morton (D.C.). And thank you to our publisher the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan (our spiritual father) and The Final Call Team!
