[Audio Replay] Discussing the Trayvon Martin case on KPFK and KJLH in Los Angeles

On March 24, I was a guest on KPFK's Liberated Sisters radio show hosted by Sister Charlene Muhammad. It was a roundtable discussion on the case of Trayvon Martin. Other panelists included Attorney/Activist Nana Gyamfi and Activist/Peacekeeper Vicky Lindsey. We discussed the Movement for Justice for Trayvon Martin, the 17-year-old Black youth who was stalked and murdered by self-described neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman in Sanford, Florida on February 26, 2012. We highlighted the family's pain and fight for a mere arrest toward ultimate justice, the national community's support and outrage, contradictions in the Sanford Police's so-called investigation, and why many people believe IT WAS MURDER. On March 26, I was a guest on KJLH's Front Page hosted by Dominique Diprima along with retired LAPD detective Timothy T. Williams, Jr. and CNN analyst Roland Martin. This kicked off their week-long coverage on Trayvon Martin. [Listen to the audio here]
