Afterwards Farrakhan will also visit Barbados, Dominica, the US Virgin Islands (St Thomas and St Croix), Belize and The Bahamas.
This series of visits is a follow-up to an earlier Caribbean tour that ran from December 2011 intermittently through March 2012, when Farrakhan visited Haiti, Jamaica, St Kitts, Antigua, Cuba and Trinidad and Tobago. Right after these stops, he returned to the US and conducted a multiple university lecture series cumulatively addressing several thousands of young students.
In each of these destinations, Farrakhan lectured to overflow audiences, packed venues, and also met with political, religious and cultural leaders, promoting a motivational ideology of positive social transformation, economic empowerment, ethnic consciousness and Caribbean unity.
Farrakhan has Caribbean roots, with his father being from Jamaica and his mother originating from St Kitts.
