Successful Children's Village Webinar: Social Media Safety For Children and Families!

(A behind the scenes look at the me conducting the webinar live from Houston, Texas)

by Brother Jesse Muhammad

I must admit: With all of the grinding I've been doing related The #FarrakhanTwitterArmy, The Time and What Must Be Done Series by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, speaking engagements and more, I have been neglecting my blog so much! However, despite that, you as my readers have remained loyal and I have been receiving new subscribers daily. THANK YOU! I have something new launching real soon, so stay tuned. (Smile)

So, what have I been up to lately? On March 27, I was honored to be the featured presenter for a webinar hosted by the Children's Village Youth Connection. This an extension of the annual children's event that takes place at our annual Nation of Islam Saviours' Day Convention. It is hosted by Mother Khadijah Farrakhan, wife of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. It is coordinated by their daughter Sister Maria Farrakhan, Jonnita Dockens and a team of hardworking persons who ensure our children have an unforgettable experience.

This webinar was the first in a series of online educational seminars geared toward enhancing the lives of families. I was asked to speak on Social Media Safety Practices. I touched on statistics related to smartphone usage, tips on privacy, ways youth are utilizing social media for success and more. I then fielded nearly thirty questions from those who donated to watch, before closing out the hour and half session. The feedback has been extremely positive and we are working to schedule a second one soon! The recording of this webinar will be available and I will post it once it is available.

I thank The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, Mother Khadijah Farrakhan, Sister Maria Farrakhan, Jonnita Dockens and all participants for a wonderful time! Thank you to Bro. Darnell Muhammad aka "007" for his assistance with all of the IT connections. I am always honored to serve the people.
