My heart is burden as my 16 year old son and I got into a big verbal argument last night (totally unnecessary). I too am a single mother raising a 14 year old daughter and my son.. they are good kids, good grades, my son works, plays on VS basketball...etc. but after the argument last night I saw a side of my son that caused internal fear. Not fear of him physically but fear for him. I somehow in that instant felt inadequate in raising him to be a man, so i searched the web and came to your blog page....I&#39;ve never been a quiter I&#39;ve been through a many tough times...but for a moment the first bold print of your text filled my spirit with exactely what I needed to address this my sons rearing more intentionally...your words were &quot;I am a working single mother and I have determined that neither my children nor myself will be the losers in this situation&quot; thanks so much.
